01 - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper to prevent sticking.
02 - In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chopped chocolate (and optional coconut oil). Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring thoroughly after each, until the chocolate is completely smooth and melted.
03 - Dip each pretzel halfway into the prepared melted chocolate. Allow any excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl before placing the pretzel onto the lined baking sheet.
04 - Immediately after dipping and while the chocolate is still wet, generously sprinkle the heart-shaped sprinkles onto the chocolate-coated portion of each pretzel.
05 - Allow the dipped pretzels to rest at room temperature for approximately 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is completely firm. For quicker setting, refrigerate for 10 minutes.
06 - Store the finished chocolate-dipped pretzels in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
