Frozen Greek Yogurt Bites (Print Version)

Creamy Greek yogurt mixed with fresh fruit and honey, frozen into refreshing bite-sized snacks perfect for any time of day.

# What You Need:

→ Yogurt Mixture

01 - 1 ½ cups plain Greek yogurt, full-fat or low-fat
02 - 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
03 - ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract

→ Fruit

04 - ½ cup diced strawberries
05 - ½ cup blueberries
06 - ½ cup diced mango or other favorite fruit

→ Optional Toppings

07 - 2 tablespoons mini dark chocolate chips
08 - 2 tablespoons chopped nuts such as pistachios or almonds

# How to Make It:

01 - Line a baking sheet or tray with parchment paper or arrange silicone mini muffin molds on a flat surface.
02 - In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Whisk until completely smooth and evenly blended.
03 - Gently fold the diced strawberries, blueberries, and mango into the yogurt mixture until evenly distributed. Avoid overmixing to prevent crushing the fruit.
04 - Using a spoon, drop heaping tablespoons of the yogurt mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing each bite about 1 inch apart to prevent sticking.
05 - Sprinkle each bite with mini dark chocolate chips or chopped nuts if desired, pressing them gently into the surface to adhere.
06 - Place the tray in the freezer for at least 2 hours or until the bites are completely firm and set.
07 - Transfer the frozen bites to an airtight container and store in the freezer until ready to serve.

# Expert Hints:

01 -
  • They satisfy that ice cream craving but leave you feeling energized instead of heavy
  • The prep takes literally ten minutes, then your freezer does all the work
02 -
  • These soften quickly at room temperature, so serve them straight from the freezer
  • Silicone molds release the frozen bites much more easily than parchment paper
03 -
  • Double the batch because they disappear faster than you expect
  • Let the tray freeze completely before trying to remove the bites
